Here on a visit from SC & was shocked how good the brisket was! And the corn chowder soup! We will definitely be back next time we are in town! And as a side note: loved the owners use of the "salt" gun on the flies!!! ”
“ My third visit. First time, my friend and I stumbled in here by accident while looking for a Chinese restaurant. It gets better every time we come back. Place is homey, super comfortable with a really impressive bar. It's like a neighborhood bar with a great restaurant in it. Sports themed decor is really a nice touch. However, these are definitely Spartan fans. Service is always friendly and cheerful. (And incredibly fast.) Tammy was a charm (as were servers on the other two visits Pimp and I both had the BBQ Rib and Chicken combo. Sorry. The meat was so tender it floated into our mouths before we could get pictures. I'm not a big red meat eater. So for me to eat ribs says a lot. Sign up for their emails. They offer specials. Going back for my birthday (carrot cake ... OMG). ”
“ A very cool casual place to visit in Waterford. The establishment is just really nice with plenty of TVs and lots of comfortable seating. The staff is super friendly from the owner who checked us in to the waitress who did an awesome job! It is billed as a barbecue joint so I had the ribs, which were good. I was told the whitefish and burgers are really good and next time I will give those a try, and there will be a next time because I really dig the vibe of this place! ”
“ Another great visit at Heroes. The pulled pork sandwich is one of my favorites. Plus, the housemade chips are pretty amazing. This was the first time trying the chicken tortilla soup and it was good as well - it had chunks of veggies and chicken - and of course, some nice spice. We brought some people with us that had never been to Heroes, and they really enjoyed it! Service was great and drink refills kept coming. The decor was nice as well - it's December and it was all decked out for Christmas. Can't wait for our next visit to Heroes. ”
